The Viscount's
Angel in A Regency Sampler
* The Viscount's Angel won second place in the Regency Press Contest
There are two Christmas tales in this anthology -- the first and
last stories. The
Viscount's Angel, which is the last story in the book, was described by the editor as:
"This is perhaps the most romantic story in the bunch, with an appealing,
noble hero and a wronged and lovely heroine. A dreadful carriage accident
at Christmas time brings Stephen, a wounded veteran of the Peninsular Wars,
and Sarah, a single mother, together at the most magical time of the year,
when all wounds are healed, and true love flowers."

The Unexpected
Guest in The Winter Holiday Sampler
* The Unexpected Guest won the Regency Press Winter Holiday Contest
All seventeen of the stories in this anthology take place between
the beginning of Advent and Twelfth Night, and all are set in Regency England.
There are stories about the winter solistice, Hanukkah, Christmas, New
Year's Eve, and Twelfth Night.
In The Unexpected
Guest, when Colonel Cameron delivers military dispatches to Oakwood
Manor, he hopes for a steaming bath and a hot meal before he leaves. He
gets much more than he bargains for -- or dreams of -- because Lady Sophia
has other ideas concerning this very attractive military man.
