Twin Peril
is in stores now. : ) If you don't have a copy yet, you can check out
the cover
or read an excerpt.
There is now an edition
of The Marriage Campaign in Polish. Check out its cover.
Harriett Broughton
and Simon, Lord Howe outschemed their matchmaking relatives and found happily
ever after together in The MP's Daughter. (Unfortunately,
The MP's Daughter, which was supposed to be out
in January 2006, is in limbo.)
Those of you who've read A
Scandalous Journey or The Marriage Campaign have
met Harriett. She doesn't appear in A Rake's Redemption
or Twin Peril (although Howe does), but MPD begins just a few
days after those stories end. Viscount Dunnley and Lady Sarah
Mallory (from ARR) make an appearance in MPD, as do the Duke of Fairfax
and Lady Deborah Woodhurst (from TP).

Have you visited
the Signet/NAL authors forum recently? Authors and readers
are writing a serial Regency romance, Lady Ariadne's Great Mistake.
I wrote the first installment, as well as one other one (so far), and a
number of authors--and readers--are taking part. You may have to register
to post an installment, but registration is painless--and free. : ) The
serial novel is here, but there are lots of other interesting discussions
going on.
Have you taken
the Jane Austen heroines quiz? It's easy, it's quick, and
it's fun.
Are you Elinor Dashwood,
Marianne Dashwood, Elizabeth Bennet, Fanny Price,
Emma Woodhouse, Catherine Morland, or Anne Elliot?

The first
two weeks of August 2003, I helped Patricia Rice, Mary Jo Putney,
and Susan King organize a tribute to Signet Regency
romance editor Hilary Ross. Hilary
is no longer at Signet/NAL, and she will be sorely
missed. She is a marvelous editor and a wonderful lady,
and it was a pleasure working with her.
